Kenco’s Solution for Open Roads
The Kenco crew was contracted to team up with a Canadian-based client to transport a gas turbine from Manchester Terminal in Houston to Sweet Grass, Montana, before it continued to its final destination in Groundbirch, British Columbia. The 24-day project averaged 150 miles per day with the help of Kenco ensuring a snag-free route.
“Our company has worked with Kenco before,” the Transport Permit Specialist said. “They are IMSA certified, so they are trained and qualified to manipulate lines and traffic signals. That gives their crews an upper hand when it comes to aerial obstacles and that’s a huge part of why we go with Kenco.”
Kenco helped navigate the cargo efficiently and safely even though the transport faced severe weather. The client explained Kenco prioritized the safety of the entire project team and even put their foot down when it came to waiting for more favorable versus pushing ahead unsafely.
“Our workers and Kenco’s crews were able to operate together as one team, which is not something you’re promised when hiring a company,” the client said. “We got down the road safely because of Kenco.”
